Procedures for In-Store Repair and Service
Receiving Equipment:
- Bring the equipment in need of service into the store during regular store hours.
- A staff member will greet you at the front counter and ask you to provide a description of the problem you are having or the work you wish to have performed.
- A work order must be completed and signed before any work can be performed. Please review it carefully to ensure the accuracy of all information contained within and read the customer agreement at the bottom of the page.
- Once you sign the work order, it will be time stamped and your equipment will be moved to the tech room and placed in the rotation for repair/service.
TO PROTECT THE SECURITY OF OUR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR EQUIPMENT, ONLY STAFF MEMBERS ARE PERMITTED IN THE TECH ROOM!
Diagnostic, Repair and Service of Equipment
- Our technicians will begin diagnosis, repair or service of your equipment based on the timestamp on your completed work order.
- If the technicians can diagnose and repair your equipment without replacing parts and within the one-hour minimum, they will do so; otherwise they will attempt to contact you at the provided contact number(s). They will advise you of the current status and/or what is needed to complete the repair or service. Until they have received your authorization to proceed, your equipment will be removed from the workbench.
- Our technicians will advise you as to what work will need to be done to your equipment to resolve the problems described on your work order and any other problem or need they may discover during this process. Once your authorization has been received, the work will be completed, the system will be tested, and you will be contacted when the equipment is ready to be picked up.
Pickup of Equipment and Payment for Work Performed:
- Once you are contacted and told that your equipment is ready to be picked up, you can do so at anytime during regular store hours.
- Payment will be required at the time your equipment is picked up. You can make your payment by Cash, Check, Travelers Checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
- You will receive a copy of your invoice which will clearly document all work performed, any work suggested but not authorized to be performed, itemized charges and the total due. Once payment is made, the invoice will be marked PAID.
Warranty Information
- The Allstate Computers, LLC. warranty is listed on the backside of your invoice.
- Any alterations to this warranty will be clearly printed on your invoice.
- Labor comes with a (14) fourteen-calendar day warranty from the date of invoice. Please use your equipment within that time frame and immediately report to the Office Manager or Owner if the problem listed on the work order still exists or if you feel the requested work was not adequately completed.
