Overview 6x 10x 24x Phones Advanced Options

Overview

We've been installing and using Allworx phone systems for almost 2 years now and have been elated with the results. With Allworx it's possible to have a complete VoIP ready phone system installed with 5 phones, 8-port voicemail, 9 auto attendants, and 3-way calling for less than $3,500. A comparable system from Avaya, NEC, or Panasonic is almost twice the price and has many more limitations.

POne of the most impressive qualities of the Allworx systems is their upgradeability. Out of the box the 6x system can support 30 users, and 6 phone lines. With a few simple, inexpensive upgrades the system can handle up to 60 users, and 30 phone lines. We have yet to find a system on the market that can do that as inexpensively and still have the kind of quality offered in the Allworx phone systems. Please take time to look through the tabs above to see what the Allworx systems can do for you.

Allworx 6x System

The Allworx 6x phone system is perfect for almost any small business. It can support from 1 user all the way up to 60 users, each with individual voicemail. Here is a list of only some of the basic features offered in this system:

  • 6 CO Lines - Native support for 6 lines, 30 with upgrades.
  • 30 Extensions - Native support for 30 users, 60 with upgrades.
    • A user extension consists of a phone with voicemail. The system can support up to 60 additional resource extensions. These extensions can be used for phones without voicemail for situations such as call centers where the operators do not need voicemail or for a lobby or convenience phone.
  • 2 Analog ports - You can connect up to 2 standard analog phones.
  • Power Fail Port - When the power is out analog phones still work.
  • VoIP - Not only will the 6x work on standard copper phone lines, but it will also operate over VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). This allows a lot of flexibility for companies that have multiple locations, remote users, or need to make overseas calls. All Allworx systems are SIP 2.0 compliant. In addition to or instead of up to 33 CO lines you can have unlimited VoIP phone lines.
  • Multisite - Going back to the VoIP feature, you can connect up to 100 6x systems together; meaning you can have 100 remote offices with full phone system capability
  • Voicemail - 8 port voicemail. Most systems have 2 or 4 port and you have to add it on as an option. The number of ports is how many people can be using the voicemail system. For instance in the 8 port system, 4 people can be leaveing messages, while 4 people are checking voice. Any combination of people checking and people leaving up to 8 people is supported.
  • Auto Attendant - You can use this feature instead of hiring a receptionist, or to compliment a receptionist. Its also great for after hours answering, routing calls to call queues such as technical support, or sales departments where there are pools of agents waiting to take calls. It can even route to voicemail and outside lines.
  • 3 Way Calling - 3 way conferencing is standard with all Allworx phone systems. The 6x has the ability to hold up to an 8 person scheduled conference bridge.
  • Door Relay - For situations where security is important, the 6x can be connected to a door relay to allow a door to be opened.
  • These are just a few of the features included in the Allworx 6x system, for more information please click the brochure link in the sidebar.

Phones

While the Allworx system will work with both analog and any SIP 2.0 compliant phones, the Allworx phones offer the most functionality. Allworx's newest phones include the 9202, and 9212. These both feature hi-fidelity voice handsets. The first time we installed this newest series of phones, we were amazed at the quality and clarity of the sound. They are noticeably clearer than any phone we've used from any other system. See the list of features below:
